Fried Mozzarella Puffs ingredients

  • 10 sli White bread
  • 1 lb Mozzarella cheese
  • 8 Eggs
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Parmesan cheese
  • 1 c flour
  • Oil
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Parmesan cheese

Cooking Fried Mozzarella Puffs

1. Trim crusts from bread.
2. Cut diagonally into quarters.
3. Slice and trim mozzarella into 2 pieces per serving, the same size as the bread.
4. Combine eggs and ½ cup parmesan cheese-mix well.
5. Coat bread with flour.
6. Dip in egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off. Place onto a baking pan. Coat cheese with flour.
7. Dip in egg. Place on top of coated bread slices.
8. Cover and chill for 2-24 hours.
9. Heat at least 2 inches of oil to 365-370 degrees.
10. Fryi puffs, cheese side down, for 1 minute.
11. Turn and fry until golden.
12. Drain on a cooling rack and blot with paper towels.
13. Sprinkle with shredded parmesan cheese.
14. Serve warm.
