Fresh peach ice cream ingredients

  • 5 Peaches (about 1 ¼ lb)
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 c Sugar
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 c Milk
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 c Heavy Cream
  • 1 t vanilla

Cooking Fresh peach ice cream

1. In a kettle of boiling water blanch the peaches for 1 minute and transfer them to a bowl of ice and water to stop the cooking.
2. Peeli and pit the peaches and in a food processor or blender puree them.
3. In a large bowl stir together the sugar, the milk, and the cream, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
4. , stir in the puree and the vanilla, and freeze mixture in an ice cream freezer according to manufacturer instructions.
5. Makes about 1 ½ quarts.
