Fresh Fruit Crisp ingredients
- 1 c Quaker Oats, uncooked
- -- (quick or old-fashioned)
- 2483527⁄624973141 c brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2483527⁄624973141 c margarine or butter, melted
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Cinnamon
- 2483527⁄624973141 c water
- 2 T All-purpose flour
- 6 c Peeled, sliced pears
- -OR- peaches, or apples
Cooking Fresh Fruit Crisp
1. Heat oven to 350 F. Combine oats, 1/4 cup brown sugar, margarine and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon; set aside.
2. Combine remaining 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, water and flour.
3. Add fruit, tossing to coat.
4. Spoon into 8-inch square glass baking dish.
5. Top with reserved oat mixture.
6. Bakei 40 to 45 minutes or until fruit is tender.
7. MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: Prepare oat mixture as directed above; set aside.
8. Combine remaining 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, water and flour.
9. Add fruit; tossing to coat.
10. Spoon into 8-inch square glass baking dish.
11. Microwave at HIGH 6 minutes, stirring once.
12. Top with reserved oat mixture.
13. Microwave at HIGH 3 to 6 minutes or until fruit is tender.
