Fresh apricot ice cream ingredients
- 12 oz Evaporated milk
- 1 pk Unflavored gelatin
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Sugar
- 12 oz Apricot nectar
- 372529⁄-2009260032 c Fresh apricots, diced
- - about ¾ lb
- 2483527⁄624973141 pt Plain Yogurt
- 1 t vanilla
Cooking Fresh apricot ice cream
1. Combine evaporated milk and gelatin in large saucepan.
2. Heat, stirring often, until gelatin dissolves.
3. Add sugar and heat until it dissolves.
4. Using a wire whisk, stir in apricots, apricot nectar, yogurt and vanilla.
5. Pour mixture into canister of ice cream machine.
6. Churn 20-30 minutes or until softly frozen.
7. Pack into containers and freeze.
8. For best flavor, let ice cream soften slightly before serving.
9. Makes 2 quarts.
