Fresh Apple Quiche ingredients
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Bulk sausage
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Chopped onion
- 2483527⁄624973141 t thyme
- 2 Red Delicious Apples Pared Cut -- Into 1/2 Cubes
- 1 T Lemon juice
- 1 T Sugar
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Shredded cheese
- 4 Eggs, beaten
- 2 c Light cream or milk
- 1 Single Deep Dish Pie Crust
Cooking Fresh Apple Quiche
1. In large skillet, cook sausage, onion and thyme until sausage is brown and onio ns tender, about 10 minutes.
2. Remove from heat.
3. Drain off excess fat. In a bowl, toss apples with lemon juice and sugar.
4. Add prepared sausage mixture, cheese, eggs and cream or milk.
5. Mixi well.
6. Pour into pie shell.
7. Bakei at 350 degrees for 40 or 45 minutes, or until custard is set. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
