French toast (egg beaters) ingredients
- 8 oz Eggs, beaten
- c Milk
- 1 t Cinnamon
- 1 t vanilla
- 2 T margarine
- 10 Slices white bread
Cooking French toast (egg beaters)
1. In a shallow bowl, combine egg beaters, milk, cinnamon and vanilla.
2. In a non-stick skillet, over medium heat, melt two teaspoons margarine.
3. Dip bread in egg beaters mixture to coat both sides.
4. Transfer to skillet and cook for 3 minutes on each side.
5. Repeat with remaining margarine and bread.
6. Serve with maple syrup or confectioners sugar.
7. Makes 5 servings; each = 189 calories, 121 mg sodium, 0 g chol, 6 g fat. Each serving = 2 slices bread.
