Foolproof broccoli and beef ingredients

  • 3⁄4 lb Sirloin Steak
  • 1 T Vegetable oil
  • 1 Clove Garlic
  • 1 med Onion, cut in wedges
  • 10 3⁄4 oz Cream of broccoli soup
  • 1⁄4 c water
  • 1 T soy sauce
  • 2 c Broccoli Flowerets
  • Hot Cooked Noodles

Cooking Foolproof broccoli and beef

1. Slice beef across the grain into very thin strips.
2. In a skillet over medium high heat, in hot oil, cook beef and garlic until beef is browned.
3. Add onion.
4. Cook 5 minutes, stirring often.
5. Stiri in soup, water and soy sauce.
6. Heat to boiling.
7. Add broccoli, reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
8. Serve over hot noodles.
9. Makes 4 servings.
10. Note: to make slicing beef easier, freeze for one before cutting.
