Filet Mignon Roast ingredients

  • 5 lb beef tenderloin
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Tomato puree
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c water
  • 3 t Honey
  • 4 T Lemon juice
  • 2 t worchestershire sause
  • 2 t Dry mustard
  • 1 t garlic Powder

Cooking Filet Mignon Roast

1. For barbecue sauce: mix ingredients tomato puree through garlic powder in a small saucepan.
2. Simmeri for 15 minutes.
3. (Makes 1 cup sauce.
4. )Marinatei the beef tenderloin in the barbecue sauce for 4 hours in the refrigerator.
5. Place the tenderloin on a rack in a roasting pan and pour the marinade over it. Place in a cold oven.
6. Heat oven to 400 degrees and roast the meat for 1 hour for medium rare.
7. A cut in the meat will determine the state of rareness.
8. Remove meat to a warm platter and slice to serve.
