Elfies Minnesota Venison Hot Dish ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground venison
  • 1 c Wild rice uncooked
  • 1⁄2 lb Fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1⁄2 c Green pepper, chopped
  • 1⁄2 c Onion, chopped
  • 1 1⁄2 c Celery, chopped
  • 3 T soy sauce
  • 2 t Beef bouillon
  • 1 1⁄2 c water

Cooking Elfies Minnesota Venison Hot Dish

1. Rinse and soak wild rice in hot water for up to 3 hours.
2. Drain.
3. In a 4 quart saucepan, cover rice with water, Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes.
4. Drain any excess water.
5. Browni ground beef in a nonstick skillet.
6. Drain any fat or juices.
7. Combine cooked ground beef with remaining ingredients in a large casserole dish.
8. Mixi thoroughly.
9. Cover and bake 1 hour at 350* F.
10. Uncover and bake 15 additional minutes.
