Eighteen minute spinach pita calzone ingredients
- 15 oz Ricotta, part-skim
- 8 oz Mozzarella, low-fat, grated
- 4 oz Virginia ham, chopped
- 1⁄4 c Parmesan cheese, grated
- 10 oz Frozen chopped spinach
- 6 2 oz pita breads
- 2 t olive oil
Cooking Eighteen minute spinach pita calzone
1. Defrost spinach and squeeze dry. Preheat oven to 400 °F. Spray cookie sheet with nonstick vegetable cooking spray.
2. Combine ricotta, mozzarella, ham, parmesan and spinach.
3. Cut 1" from top of each pita.
4. Spoon cheese mixture into pita, dividing evenly.
5. Place on prepared cookie sheet.
6. Brush tops with oil. Bakei for 10 minutes or until heated through.
7. Serve immediately.
8. Serve with tomato salad.
9. Per serving: 435 calories, 30 g protein, 17 g fat (35%), 41 g carbohydrate 994 mg sodium, 58 mg cholesterol.
