Easy pot roast

Easy pot roast ingredients
- 4 Pound boneless beef roast
- 1 T Oil
- 1 T butter
- 1 large Onion, sliced
- 1 cn (14 ½ oz) stewed
- Tomatoes
- 1 c Beef broth
- 1 Jars Prepared horseradish
- 1⁄2 t Mrs. dash
- GRAVY:
- 3 T flour
- 1⁄4 c Cold water
Cooking Easy pot roast
1. In heavy 4-quart pot, brown meat in oil and butter.
2. Or, if you have longer, simply grease the inside of your crockpot and put in the thawed roast, starting it on high for 30-45 minutes.
3. Add onion to crockpot, and mix together remaining ingredients, except for flour and water.
4. Pour over meat and let cook on low setting for the rest of the day; on top of stove, simmer for 2-3 hours until meat is tender, turning meat occasionally.
5. Remove meat to warm serving plate; keep warm.
6. To make gravy, dissolve flour in water.
7. Add 2 tablespoons hot cooking liquid.
8. Add to liquid in crockpot or roaster and cook, stirring constantly until thickened.
9. Serve sliced meat with hot gravy.
10. Makes 6-8 servings and 1 quart of gravy.
