Easy leek quiche ingredients

  • 11 oz Pkg refrigerated bread stick dough
  • 1 t olive oil
  • 1 med Leek, thinly sliced, (1 ½ cup)
  • 1 Cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 Green or red bell pepper
  • -rings, (optional) (up to 5)
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Nonfat mozzarella cheese shredded/part skim
  • 1 c Evaporated skim milk
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Egg Beaters« 99% egg
  • -substitute, or 3 eggs beaten
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 t Cornstarch
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Fresh ground pepper
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Ground nutmeg
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 c Finely chopped turkey ham (opt)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese

Cooking Easy leek quiche

1. Heat oven to 350°F.
2. Spray 10" pie plate with nonstick vegetable cooking spray.
3. Set aside.
4. Separate and unroll individual bread sticks.
5. On flat surface, coil strips of dough into circle.
6. Using rolling pin roll dough into 13" circle.
7. Press dough into bottom and up sides of prepared pie plate.
8. (dough will shrink back slightly when pressing).
9. Set aside.
10. In 10" nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
11. Add leek and garlic (and ham cubes, if using).
12. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until leek is tende and just beginning to brown, stirring occasionally.
13. Spread leek mixture in bottom of crust.
14. Sprinkle cheese evenly over mixture.
15. Arrange pepper rings over cheese, if using.
16. In food processor or blender, combine remaining ingredients.
17. Process until smooth.
18. Pour mixture over filling.
19. Bakei for 45-50 minutes or until filling is set and crust is golden brown.
20. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
21. Sprinkle with shredded fresh parmesan cheese, if desired.
