Easy Cabbage and Beef Rolls

Easy Cabbage and Beef Rolls ingredients
- 1 large Cabbage
- 15 oz Can tomato sauce, divided
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 4 oz Can of mushrooms, undrained
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Uncooked instant rice
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Chopped onion
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Pepper
- 2483527⁄624973141 t garlic Powder
- 1 t Sugar
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Lemon juice
- 1 t Cornstarch
- 1 t water
Cooking Easy Cabbage and Beef Rolls
1. Remove 10 outer leaves of cabbage.
2. Cover leaves with boiling water; cover and let stand 10 minutes.
3. Drain well.
4. Combine 1/2 cup tomato sauce and next 7 ingredients, mixing well.
5. Place 1/2 cup meat mixture in center of each cabbage leaf.
6. Flod 2 opposite ends over, and place rolls, seam side down, in a lightly greased 8 inch baking dish.
7. Combine remaining tomato sauce, sugar and lemon juice; pour over cabbage rolls.
8. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
9. Remove cabbage rolls to a serving platter; drain tomato sauce mixture into a saucepan.
10. Combine cornstarch and water, stirring until smooth, stir uinto tomato sauce mixture.
11. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
12. Boil 1 minute.
13. Pour over cabbage rolls.
