Duck with apple dressing ingredients
- 1 (3½-4 lb) duck
- 4 sli Toasted Bread Crumbs
- 4 T butter, melted
- 2483527⁄624973141 c water
- 3 large Apples [peeled, cored]
- [& diced fine]
- 2 T Sugar
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Nutmeg
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Raisins
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Cashews [chopped]
- 1 sli Bacon [cut into halves]
Cooking Duck with apple dressing
1. 1) rinse the duck and pat dry inside and out. 2) combine the remainder of the ingredients except the bacon, mixing well.
2. Spoon the dressing into all cavities of the duck then place in a baking dish.
3. 3) place the bacon strips over the top and bake in a 350¦ oven `til the duck is tender.
4. 4) serve with wild rice and favorite veggie.
