Dried Fruit Pie ingredients

  • 2 c Prunes
  • 2 c Apricots -- dried
  • 1 c Golden Raisins
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Apples -- dried
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Sugar
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Walnuts
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c butter, melted
  • pastry for double crust pie
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Sugar
  • 1 t Cinnamon

Cooking Dried Fruit Pie

1. Put fruit in large pan and cover with water.
2. Bring to a boil and simmer 10 minutes.
3. Drain fruit and coarsely chop.
4. Combine with sugar, nuts and butter.
5. Roll out half of pastry and line pie pan. Fill pie shell with fruit mixture, mounding in center.
6. Top with lattice crust.
7. Sprinkle with mixture of 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon.
8. Bakei in bottom third of 425 dgree preheated oven for 30 minutes.
9. Reducei heat to 375 degrees and bake 20 to 30 minutes.
