Dear Abby's Kentucky Pecan Pie ingredients

  • 1 c White corn syrup
  • 1 c Dark brown sugar; pack
  • 1⁄3 t Salt
  • 1⁄3 c butter, melted
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 3 Egg; lightly beaten
  • 1 Heaping cup whole pecans
  • Unbaked 9 pie crust

Cooking Dear Abby's Kentucky Pecan Pie

1. from a Dear Abby column Combine syrup, sugar, salt, butter and vanilla and mix well.
2. Add slightly beated eggs.
3. Pour into unbaked pe shell.
4. Sprinkle pecans over all. Bakei in preheated 350` oven for approximately 45 minutes.
5. When cool, you may top with whipped cream or ice cream.
