Dark pralines

Dark pralines ingredients
- 2 c Sugar
- 1 c buttermilk
- 1 t Baking soda
- 2 c Pecan halves
- 2 T butter Or margarine
Cooking Dark pralines
1. Combine first three ingredients in a large heavy saucepan; bring to a boil, and cook 5 minutes.
2. Stiri in pecans and butter; cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture reached soft ball stage (234¦).
3. Remove from heat; beat with wooden spoon 2 to 3 minutes or until mixture is creamy and begins to thicken.
4. Working quickly, drop mixture by rounded tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper; let cool.
