Curry powder 2 ingredients

  • 3 T Coriander seeds
  • 2 T Cumin seeds
  • 2 T Turmeric
  • 1 T Mustard seed
  • 2 1⁄2 t Fennel seeds
  • Seeds of 8 cardamon pods
  • 8 cloves
  • 1 1⁄2 t Ground ginger
  • 1 1⁄2 t Black peppercorns
  • 1⁄4 t Freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1⁄4 t Cayenne

Cooking Curry powder 2

1. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients.
2. Spread mixture out on a jelly roll pan and toast in a preheated 250 °F oven for 20 minutes.
3. Let cool to room temperature.
4. Pulverizei the spice mixture in batches with an electric spice or coffee grinder and strain it through a sieve into a bowl.
5. The curry powder will keep six months in a tightly sealed jar in a cool dark place.
6. Use to season soups and stews.
