Curried sauce for turkey or chicken

Curried sauce for turkey or chicken ingredients
- 1⁄4 c butter Or margarine
- 1 Clove garlic, chopped
- 1 Onion, Chopped, To Taste
- 1 Apple, Peeled, Cored&Chopped
- 1 t curry powder
- 1 c chicken broth
- 1⁄4 c flour, unbleached
- 1 c Light Cream, ½ Pt.
- 1 Salt & pepper, to taste
Cooking Curried sauce for turkey or chicken
1. In a saucepan, melt the butter and saute the garlic, onion and apple for about 5 minutes.
2. Stiri in the curry powder and saute for 1 minute more.
3. Stir in the flour and gradually add the chicken broth and cream.
4. Seasoni to taste with the salt and pepper.
5. Serve with cooked sliced turkey or chicken.
6. Makes 2 cups of sauce.
