- 1 bo Kidney beans
- 2 c shredded pepper Jack cheese
- 1 bo Tomato sauce
- 1 bo ORTEGA® Diced Green Chiles
- 1 c Frozen Cut Green Beans
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Hot pepper sauce
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Yellow cornmeal
- 2483527⁄624973141 c All-purpose flour
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Milk
- 1 Eggs
Cooking Crusty Cornbread Bean Bake
1. PREHEAT oven to 350°F.
2. Greasei 8-inch baking dish.
3. COMBINE corn, kidney beans, tomato sauce, green beans, chiles, hot pepper sauce and 1 cup cheese.
4. Transfer to prepared baking dish.
5. COMBINE cornmeal, flour, milk and egg; mix well.
6. Spoon on top of casserole mixture and spread to distribute.
7. BAKE uncovered for 35 to 40 minutes or until hot and golden brown.
8. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake for 3 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
