Creamed carrot soup ingredients

  • 5 T butter
  • 4 Onions, chopped
  • 4 c Carrots, sliced
  • 4 T flour
  • 5 c Beef broth
  • 3 1⁄2 c Milk
  • 1 Pinch salt
  • 1 Pinch Pepper
  • 1⁄4 t Nutmeg

Cooking Creamed carrot soup

1. Melt butter in kettle.
2. Sautei vegetables until onions are clear.
3. Blend in flour.
4. Mixi in broth and stir until smooth.
5. Simmeri covered 30 minutes.
6. Put soup through blender to puree.
7. Stiri in milk.
8. Adjust the seasonings.
9. Stir until hot, but not boiling.
10. Ladle into bowls and sprinkle nutmeg on top.
