Cream of Avocado

Cream of Avocado ingredients
- 1⁄4 c flour
- 2 T butter
- 3⁄4 c Milk
- 1⁄2 lb Avocado
- salt and pepper for seasoning
- garlic powder for seasoning
- 2 t Lemon juice
Cooking Cream of Avocado
1. Cut the avocado in half.
2. Remove the seed, then use a spoon to scoop out the flesh.
3. Transfer to a blender, then puree along with the lemon juice (to prevent discoloration).
4. In a pot, saute the flour in butter until slightly browned, then add milk.
5. Bring to a boil.
6. Stiri in the avocado puree, then simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
7. Seasoni with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, if desired.
8. You can garnish the avocado cream soup with a dollop of cream and some almond flakes, if desired.
