Cream Cheese Stuffed Pears ingredients

  • 1 recipe Pears
  • 2 bo pear halves in juice
  • 2 pk Cream cheese
  • 4 t Granulated sugar
  • 1 recipe chocolate SAUCE
  • 1 bo NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk
  • 1 pk NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
  • 2 T Granulated sugar
  • 2 t vanilla extract
  • 1⁄8 t Salt
  • 1 bt raspberry juice or syrup

Cooking Cream Cheese Stuffed Pears

1. FOR PEARS: PLACE pear halves, cut side down, on paper towels.
2. Combine cream cheese and sugar in small bowl until smooth.
3. Match pear halves by size.
4. Spread about 1 rounded tablespoon cream cheese mixture on cut side of one pear half; press cut side of second pear half into cream cheese.
5. Repeat with remaining pears.
6. Cover; refrigerate for 15 minutes.
7. FOR CHOCOLATE SAUCE: HEAT evaporated milk to boiling in medium, heavy-duty saucepan.
8. Stiri in morsels.
9. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is slightly thickened and smooth.
10. Remove from heat; stir in sugar, vanilla extract and salt.
11. TO SERVE: PLACE pears in pool of raspberry sauce; drizzle with Chocolatei Saucei.
