Crab and corn chowder ingredients

  • 1 small Onion, chopped
  • 4 T margarine
  • 1⁄3 c flour
  • 3 c Milk
  • 2 med Potatoes
  • 1 small Green Pepper
  • 1 sli Celery
  • 1 c Half and half cream
  • 4 sli Bacon, crisp and crumbled
  • 2 cn Crabmeat
  • 1 cn kernel corn

Cooking Crab and corn chowder

1. Sautei onion in margarine until soft.
2. Add flour and cook gently for 1 minute, remove from heat.
3. Gradually add milk.
4. Return to heat and cook until thick.
5. Add diced potatoes, celery, green pepper and cream.
6. Simmeri 30 minutes.
7. Add crabmeat and corn.
8. Heat through.
