Cornmeal thumbprint jam cookies ingredients
- 1 c flour
- 1⁄3 c Cornmeal
- 1⁄2 t Ground cinnamon
- 1⁄2 t Nutmeg
- 1⁄8 t Salt
- 1 Unsalted butter, softened
- 1⁄2 c Dark brown sugar
- 1 Egg yolks
- 3⁄4 t vanilla
- Jam
Cooking Cornmeal thumbprint jam cookies
1. Preheat oven to 350. Combine flour, cornmeal, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in medium bowl.
2. , cream butter and brown sugar in large bowl.
3. Mixi in egg yolk and vanilla.
4. Mix in dry ingredients.
5. Form dough into 1-inch balls.
6. Place on ungreased cookie sheets and make depression in center using thumb.
7. Bakei 10 minutes.
8. Fill depressions with jam and return to oven for 8 minutes.
