Cornbread Stuffing ingredients

  • 1⁄4 c butter
  • 2 c Chopped onion
  • 1 c Sliced celery
  • 2 c chicken broth
  • 1 bo Corn
  • 2 bo ORTEGA® Diced Green Chiles
  • 3 T Chopped fresh parsley
  • 1⁄2 t Paprika
  • 1⁄2 t Salt
  • 1⁄8 t Ground black pepper
  • 1⁄4 t Crushed dried oregano
  • 6 c crumbled cornbread
  • 1⁄2 c Chopped pecans

Cooking Cornbread Stuffing

1. Preheat oven to 350 degF.
2. Spray 2 1/2-quart baking dish with vegetable cooking spray.
3. Set aside.
4. In large skillet, melt butter over low heat.
5. Cook onion and celery until tender, 5 to 8 minutes.
6. Stiri in chicken broth, corn, green chili peppers, parsley, paprika, salt, pepper, and oregano.
7. Mixi well.
8. Add cornbread and pecans, mix to incorporate.
9. Spoon into prepared baking dish.
10. Cover and bake for 30 minutes, or until thoroughly heated.
