Corn lightbread

Corn lightbread ingredients
- 2 c Cornmeal
- 1 c All-purpose flour
- 1⁄2 c Sugar
- 1 t Baking soda
- 1 t Salt
- 2 c buttermilk or sour milk
- 3 T Oil or bacon drippings
Cooking Corn lightbread
1. Combine dry ingredients; blend in milk and oil. Spoon into lightly greased 9" x 5" loaf pan. Let stand 10 minutes.
