Corn Bread ingredients

  • 2 c Bake it all mix;do not pack
  • 1 Eggs
  • 1 c Sour milk*
  • 1⁄4 c Sugar
  • 1 c Cornmeal
  • 1⁄2 t Baking soda

Cooking Corn Bread

1. *To make sour milk, place 1 Tablespoon vinegar in measuring cup and fill to the 1 cup mark with milk.
2. Break egg into bowl; beat.
3. Stiri in milk, sugar, cornmeal, Mixi, and baking soda.
4. Stir quickly and vigorously until just mixed.
5. Pour batter into an 8 by 8 by 2-inch square pan, bottom rubbed with shortening.
6. Bakei in a 425 F. oven 25 to 30 minutes.
7. CORNMEAL MUFFINS: Pour Corni Breadi Batteri into 12 greased muffin cups.
8. Bake in a 425 F. oven about 20 minutes.
