- 1 c milk, scalded
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
- c Sugar
- 4 T -Shortening
- 1 yeast cake
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Water, warm
- 2 c flour
- Sugar
- Cinnamon
Cooking Coffee cake #2
1. Pour scalded milk over sugar, flour and salt.
2. Beat till smooth, add yeast with ¼ c. warm water in which it has been dissolved.
3. Let stand and rise, the beat down.
4. Put in three 8-inch pans.
5. Let rise, add cream mixed with granulated sugar and cinnamon.
6. Spread on top. Bakei 20 minutes.
7. Note: assume moderate oven 350 - 400°F.
