Coconut cream filling

Coconut cream filling ingredients
- 1⁄3 c Sugar
- 3 T Cornstarch
- 1⁄8 t Salt
- 1 1⁄2 c Skim Milk
- 2 Egg yolks
- 1⁄2 c Shredded coconut
- 1⁄4 c Light cream cheese
- 3⁄4 t vanilla extract
- 1⁄4 t Coconut flavoring
Cooking Coconut cream filling
1. combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in a medium saucepan.
2. Stiri in milk and egg yolks.
3. Place over medium heat and cook for 5 minutes, or until thickened and bubbly, stirring constantly.
4. Remove from heat and stir in coconut, cream cheese, vanilla extract and coconut flavoring.
5. Cool completely.
