Cocoa chiffon cake ingredients

  • 372529⁄-2009260032 c flour -- sifted
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 c Sugar
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 T baking powder
  • 2483527⁄624973141 T Salt
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Oil
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Almond extract
  • 1 c Egg whites -- 7-8
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Cream of tartar

Cooking Cocoa chiffon cake

1. Blend cocoa and water and cool.
2. Mixi flour.
3. Baking powderi and salt.
4. Beat yolks with half of sugar.
5. In another bowl, beats whites wi th cream of tartar, gradually adding rest of sugar till stiff peaks form.
6. Foldi in yolk mixture and dry ings.
7. Spoon into ungreased t ube pan. Bakei about 65 min. at 325°F.
8. Invert to cool.
