Cinnamon apple jelly

Cinnamon apple jelly ingredients
- 1 t Unflavored gelatin
- 1 2⁄3 c Unsweetened apple juice
- 2 t Lemon juice
- 1 Cinnamon stick 1" long
- 1 dr Each yellow & red food col.
- 4 t Artificial sweetener equiv.*
Cooking Cinnamon apple jelly
1. * sweetener equivalent to 4 tsp sugar soften gelatin in ¼ c apple juice.
2. Combine remaining apple juice, lemon juice, cinnamon stick and food coloring, if desired, in a saucepan.
3. Boil about 7 min to reduce by 1/Remove from heat.
4. Stiri in sweetener and softened gelatin until it dissolves.
5. Discard cinnamon stick.
6. Pour into a sterilized jar. Cover tightly.
7. Store in refrigerator.
8. Makes about 1 cup each serving 1 tbsp, 1 ++ extra 3 g carbohydrate, 12 calories.
