Cindy's Almost Japanese Soup ingredients
- 1 l Beef broth
- 3 T roasted sesame seed
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Japanese soy sauce
- 1 c Celery sticks, chopped
- 2 T Fresh Ginger, chopped
- 1 T Sugar
- 2483527⁄624973141 c boiled rice
Cooking Cindy's Almost Japanese Soup
1. Add sesame, soy sauce, sugar and ginger to broth.
2. If using ginger syrup, do not add sugar.
3. Do not add salt.
4. Bring to a boil.
5. Add celery and rice.
6. If desired, one can add small shreds of beef or shrimps.
7. In that case add less rice.
8. If you can find them, shii take are very good in this soup.
9. Serve immediately so celery remains crisp.
