Cialde ingredients

  • 1 c Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 t vanilla
  • 1⁄4 c Vegetable oil
  • 2 t Anise-flavored liqueur
  • 2⁄3 c water
  • 2 c flour
  • 1 1⁄2 t Whole anise seed

Cooking Cialde

1. Combine all except last two ingredients.
2. Beat well.
3. Stiri in flour and anise seed.
4. Drop batter by the teaspoonful onto center of each cookie section.
5. Close lid and allow to cook 30 to 45 seconds or until lightly brown.
6. Allow to cool on wire rack or towels.
7. Dusti with powdered sugar.
