Chunky garden-tomato sauce

Chunky garden-tomato sauce ingredients
- 1 T olive oil
- 1 c Chopped onion
- 4 Cloves garlic, minced
- 5 1⁄2 c Chopped seeded tomato
- 1⁄4 c Chopped fresh basil
- 2 T Chopped fresh oregano
- 1 t Sugar
- 1⁄2 t Salt
- 1⁄4 t Pepper
Cooking Chunky garden-tomato sauce
1. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
2. Add onion and garlic; saute 3 minutes.
3. Add remaining ingredients, and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
4. Reducei heat, and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Serve over pasta or polenta, or on crostini.
