Christmas Jewels ingredients

  • 1⁄3 c -Shortening
  • 1⁄4 c Sugar
  • 1⁄2 c molasses
  • 1 Eggs
  • 1 1⁄2 c flour
  • 1⁄2 t Soda
  • 1⁄4 t Salt
  • 1 t Cinnamon
  • 1 t Mace
  • 1 t Nutmeg
  • 1⁄4 t Ginger
  • 1⁄4 t Allspice
  • 2 1⁄2 c mixed candied fruit

Cooking Christmas Jewels

1. Heat oven to 325. Mixi shortening, sugar, molasses egg. Stiri dry ingredients; blend into shortening mixture.
2. Stir in fruit.
3. Drop by teaspoonfuls about 1 apart on lightly greased baking sheet.
4. Bakei 12-15 minutes.
