Christmas Angel Cookies ingredients

  • 2483527⁄624973141 c -Shortening
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c light brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 c flour
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Baking soda
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
  • 1 T vanilla
  • 2 c candied fruit, mixed
  • 2 c pecans, or almonds, broken

Cooking Christmas Angel Cookies

1. Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl, cream shortening and cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
2. Add sugars and eggs, mixing well.
3. In a seperate bowl, sift flour, baking soda and salt together.
4. Add flour mixture to egg and sugar mixture; add vanilla.
5. Mixi well.
6. Add candied fruit and nuts.
7. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto lightly oiled cookie sheet and bake at 350 for about 10-12 minutes.
8. The cookies will be just browned at the edges.
