Chow mein with shrimp and pork ingredients

  • 9 T Oil
  • 4 oz Shrimp, shelled, deveined
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 t Salt
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Cornstarch
  • 2483527⁄624973141 lb Lean pork, shredded
  • 1 T Sherry
  • 2 T soy sauce, light
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Sugar
  • 2483527⁄624973141 lb bok choy
  • 2483527⁄624973141 lb Mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 T chicken stock
  • 1 t Cornstarch , dissolved in
  • 2 t water

Cooking Chow mein with shrimp and pork

1. Drop noodles into boiling water and boil for five minutes.
2. Rinse under cold water.
3. Drain.
4. Mixi with 1 t oil. Set aside.
5. Mix shrimp with ΒΌ t salt and cornstarch.
6. Heat 1 t oil to 400 in wok and stir fry shrimp until they turn pink, about 1 minute.
7. Remove.
8. Heat 2 t oil to 400. Stiri fry pork until color changes.
9. Add sherry, 1 t soy sauce and sugar.
10. Stir fry 1 minute.
11. Remove.
12. Heat 2 t oil to 400. Stir fry bok choy 1 minute.
13. Add pork, mushrooms, 1 t salt, and 1 t soy sauce.
14. Add stock.
15. Cook 3 minutes.
16. Thicken with dissolved cornstarch.
17. Pour in shrimp and bring to boil.
18. Remove.
19. Heat 3 t oil to 400. Turn down to 350 and stir fry noodles until outside is golden brown but inside is soft.
20. (they will form a cake).
21. Cook 5 minutes on each side.
22. Remove to platter.
23. Place cooked mixture on top of noodles.
