Chocolate sandwich cookies

Chocolate sandwich cookies ingredients
- 2 pk (18-¼ oz ea) devil's food
- Cake mix
- 4 Eggs, lightly beaten
- 2⁄3 c Vegetable oil
- 1 pk (8 oz) cream cheese, softend
- 1⁄2 c Butter or margarine, softend
- 3 To 4 cups confectioners'
- Sugar
- 1⁄2 t vanilla extract
- Red and/or green food
- Coloring, optional
Cooking Chocolate sandwich cookies
1. In a mixing bowl, beat cake mixes, eggs and oil (batter will be very stiff).
2. Roll into 1-in.
3. Balls; place on ungreased baking sheets and flatten slightly.
4. Bakei at 350 °F for 8-10 minutes or until a slight indentation remains when lightly touched.
5. Cool. In another mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and butter.
6. Add sugar and vanilla; mix until smooth.
7. If desired, tint with food coloring.
8. Spread on bottom of half of the cookies.
9. Top with remaining cookies.
