Chocolate almond thins

Chocolate almond thins ingredients
- 1 c butter
- 1⁄2 c Brown sugar, packed
- 1⁄2 c Granulated sugar
- 1 Egg yolk
- 1 1⁄2 t vanilla
- 1 3⁄4 c flour
- 1 c Diced almonds roasted
- 1 c Semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Cooking Chocolate almond thins
1. Creami together butter and both sugars.
2. Beat in egg yolk and vanilla.
3. Stiri in flour and half of the almonds.
4. Spread in unoiled 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Bakei at 350 °F for 20 minutes.
5. Sprinkle hot crust with chocolate.
6. Sprinkle with remaining almonds, pressing them lightly into melting chocolate.
7. Cut into squares while still warm, but don"t remove from pan until cool.
8. Makes 24 squares.
