Chinese salt and pepper ingredients

  • 2⁄3 c Salt 1 ts Black Peppercorns, whole
  • 2 T Szechwan Peppercorns, whole

Cooking Chinese salt and pepper

1. Heat a heavy skillet over high heat.
2. Reducei heat to medium and add salt and peppercorns.
3. Stiri constantly until mixture turns a light brown.
4. Place in a blender or food processor and whirl until well blended.
5. Shake through a sieve before bottling.
6. Yield about 6 oz.
