Chinese Red-Cooked Barbecue Pork ingredients

  • 3 lb Boneless lean pork
  • 1⁄4 c Plum sauce
  • 1⁄4 c soy sauce
  • 3 T white wine
  • 2 T Catsup
  • 1 T garlic
  • 1 T Orange zest
  • 1 T Sesame paste
  • 1 t Ginger
  • 1 t Sesame oil
  • 1⁄2 t Chinese five-spice powder
  • 4 dr food coloring

Cooking Chinese Red-Cooked Barbecue Pork

1. Combine all ingredients-mix well.
2. Cover and chill for 4-24 hours.
3. Remove pork to a rack in a roasting pan. Turn over and baste with remainder of marinade.
4. Remove from oven, cool.
5. Use as desired.
