- 1 lb Boneless beef top sirloin
- Steak
- 2 t Spicy Seasoning Mix --
- - divided
- c Rice
- 1 med Orange (Or Apple) -- cut in Pieces
- 3 Green onions -- thinly
- Sliced

Cooking Chili-spiced beef and rice salad
1. See recipe for spicy seasoning mixture.
2. Cook rice according to package directions, adding 1 tsp spicy seasoning mix to the water.
3. Should yield about 2 cups.
4. Heat 10-inch nonstick frying pan over medium heat 5 minutes.
5. Meanwhile rub 1 tsp seasoning into both sides of steak.
6. Panbroil steak 12 - 14 minutes for rare to medium, turning once.
7. Seasoni with salt if desired.
8. Meanwhile combine rice, fruit, onions, and walnuts.
9. Carve steak into ΒΌ inch thick slices.
10. Arrange beef and rice mixture on individual plates or serving platter.
