Chili sauce ingredients

  • 2 Finely chopped red chili
  • -peppers or
  • 2 T Chili powder
  • 1⁄4 c Finely chopped onion
  • 3 T Finely chopped green pepper
  • 1 T butter
  • 8 oz Can tomato sauce
  • 1⁄4 c water
  • 1 Garlic clove, minced
  • 1 ds Black or red pepper

Cooking Chili sauce

1. Using a small skillet cook chopped onion, green pepper, garlic, and chili pepper in butter, till tender.
2. Add tomato sauce, water, and pepper.
3. Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
4. Makes 1 ½ cups.
