- 6 Whole green chiles
- 1 c Jack cheese
- 5 Egg
- 2483527⁄624973141 Half and half
- 2483527⁄624973141 t white pepper
Cooking Chiles Rellenos Quiche con Chorizo
1. Heat sausage in a skillet, over a moderate flame.
2. Heat and stir to brown well.
3. Drain and set aside.
4. Split chiles, lengthwise, to lay flat, and remove any remaining seeds.
5. Line the bottom and sides of a glass pie pan with the chiles top with sausage and grated cheese.
6. Combine eggs, half & half or cream, and white pepper-mix well.
7. Pour into pan, over sausage and cheese.
8. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 15 minutes before cutting.
9. Serve warm.
