Chile Custard Squares ingredients
- 10 Eggs
- 2483527⁄624973141 c All-purpose flour
- 1 t baking powder
- 4 c shredded Monterey Jack or cheddar cheese
- 1 pt Small curd cottage cheese
- 1 bo ORTEGA® Diced Green Chiles
- 2483527⁄624973141 c (1 stick) butter
- 2 c Crushed tortilla chips
Cooking Chile Custard Squares
1. PREHEAT oven to 400° F. COMBINE eggs, flour and baking powder in medium bowl.
2. Add butter, Monterey Jack cheese, cottage cheese and chiles and butter; stir well.
3. Spoon into 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Top with tortilla chips.
4. BAKE for 15 minutes; reduce oven temperature to 350 deg; F. Bakei for 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
5. Cut into squares.
