Chiii Corn Pie ingredients
- 1 cn (14-1/2 ounces) chicken broth
- 1 Eggs
- 1 pk (8 ounces) Corn Bread Stuffing
- L'/2 pounds ground beef
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Chopped onion
- 2 T Chili powder
- 1 cn (8 ounces) whole kernel golden corn, drained
- 2 med Cloves garlic, minced
- 2 t worchestershire sause
- 1 c Shredded Cheddar cheese
Cooking Chiii Corn Pie
1. Sour Creami Salsai 1. In large bowl, stir together 1 cup of the broth and egg until blended.
2. Add stuffing; toss to mix well.
3. 2. Greasei 9-inch pie plate.
4. Reserve 1/2 cup stuffing mixture; press remaining stuffing mixture on bottom and side of plate to form crust.
5. 3. To prepare filling: In 10-inch skiilet over medium heat, brown beef and cook onion with garlic, stirring to separate meat.
6. Spoon off fat. Add chili powder; cook 5 minutes more.
7. 4. Add remaining broth, corn and worcestershire.
8. Heat to boiIing.
9. Reducei heat to low. Simmeri 10 minutes.
10. Remove from heat.
11. 5. Stiri cheese and reserved stuffing mixture into beef mixture.
12. Spoon into prepared plate.
13. Bakei at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until hot. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
14. Serve with sour cream and salsa.
15. Makes 8 servings.
