Chicken with Apple Salsa

Chicken with Apple Salsa ingredients
- 8 Skinless chicken thighs
- 1 Large lemon
- 1⁄2 t Freshly ground black pepper
- 1 T Brown sugar
- 1 c Bottled chili sauce
- 1 c Granny Smith apples
- Corn chips
- Cilantro
Cooking Chicken with Apple Salsa
1. Place chicken thighs on broiler pan. Set oven temperature control at broil.
2. Arrange oven rack so chicken is about 6 inches from heat.
3. Squeeze lemon juice over chicken evenly.
4. Sprinkle pepper on top. Broili, turning once, about 25 minutes, or until fork can be inserted in chicken with ease.
5. Spread Applei Salsai (below) evenly over chicken.
6. Broil 2 minutes.
7. Garnishi with corn chips and cilantro sprigs.
8. Apple Salsa: In nonstick saucepan, mix 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar and 1 cup bottled chili sauce.
9. Place over medium heat, add 1 cup chopped Granny Smith apples and cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
