Chicken Saronno ingredients

  • 6 Boneless, skinless chicken
  • Breast halves
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder,
  • curry powder, flour
  • 1⁄4 c butter Or margarine
  • 1⁄2 lb Fresh mushrooms, thickly
  • Sliced
  • 1⁄4 c Amaretto di Saronno
  • Grated rind & juice of one Lemon
  • 1 1⁄2 c chicken broth
  • 1 T Cornstarch
  • Patty shells

Cooking Chicken Saronno

1. Cut chicken into 1-inch wide strips.
2. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder and curry powder.
3. Roll strips in flour.
4. Heat butter or margarine in a large skillet.
5. Browni chicken pieces on all sides.
6. Add mushrooms, Amarettoi di Sarono, grated lemon rind and juice.
7. Simmeri 5 minutes.
8. Mixi chicken broth and cornstarch; stir mixture into skillet.
9. Stiri over low heat until mixture bubbles and thickens.
10. Seasoni to taste with salt, if necessary.
11. Spoon mixture into patty shells.
12. Optional garnish: diced tomato and parsley.
