Chicken or pork adobo ingredients
- 3 lb chicken thighs or pork butt
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Vinegar
- 2483527⁄624973141 c soy sauce
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Peppercorns, crushed
- 1 Bay leaf
Cooking Chicken or pork adobo
1. If using pork, cut pork into 1 ½-inch pieces.
2. In a large sauce pot, combine all ingredients.
3. Cover and let stand for 1 to 3 hours.
4. Bring to a boil; lower heat and simmer for 30 minutes (45 minutes for pork).
5. Uncover and simmer 15 more minutes or until liquid evaporates and chicken or pork is lightly browned.
6. Makes 6 servings.
